Amun and Mut Statue

Made in Egypt small resin statue.  Amon-Ra was held to be the physical father of the pharaoh.  He also had cosmic functions such as the creation, controlling the seasons, and protecting the weak.  Mut was considered the great and mighty divine mother.  The marriage of Amon and Mut was one of the great annual celebrations during the New Kingdom (1550-1070BC)
